The "KISS"

Image
I am feeling really awesome to share this with you. It is an incident which has happened in 2010. I was in Nashik, completing my B.Ed. It was near about 6 p:m. I was returning from my college. My room was 5 minutes away from the college. Actually it was a very big campus . KTHM, campus. From K.G. to P.G. courses are available there. I was crossing the main gate of one of the High-school building, at that time I noticed that somebody was crying. It was a school-boy. He might be in 5th or 6th class. The peon was closing the gates. As the boy was inside the gate, it was impossible to close it. So he took that boy out and closed the gate. I went near to Peon asked about the matter. Then he told me,  "sir, no one come to receive this boy's, and I have to go. I can't wait now, . Sir, please do me a favor please stay with the boy, until his parents come."     I had no choice. I agreed. The boy was crying continuously. I sooth him first. And started talking with him to make ...

Why we do not need castes and religion

Image
It was my friend who makes me think over this question. We were just wandering at airport. And talking about marriage he was not getting a girl in ‘His Caste’. I thought we get neighbours according to our financial condition, we get or become friends with those with whom we are comfortable, we get job according to our education. As we get our neighbours, friends and job according to our financial condition, comfort and education respectively. In the same way we get married with the person from our caste or religion. Now is this (caste or Religion) the only thing that makes ‘Jodies’ like ‘Rab Wali’. I think this must not be like this. Is this why we need the caste and religion for?   I know orthodox and dogmatist are going irritate by this question. But actually we really don’t need religion at all. I really mean it. I can think my life without religion. I have been thinking that if we eliminate castes and religions from th...

What Does It Mean By ‘Being Buddhist’

Image
Yesterday was a sleepless night. Not because i was thinking of something or i had any bad dream. I was trying to sleep but the sound of beating drum disturbs me each time. It was Jagran-Gondhal’s program (praying god by singing songs for whole night) at our neighbour’s house that didn’t let me sleep. Our neighbour Mr. X (Identity should be hidden) is a Buddhist. I was thinking at first that Mr. X should not follow the custom of Jagran-Gondhal, because it is a Hindu’s custom and Mr.X is a Buddhist. How many people there who follows other religions’ rituals? I think mostly very few. These are two totally different things i.e. to participate in the ritual of the other religion and to follow or observe it by own. How many people observe the fast of Roja apart from Muslim brothers? How many people celebrate Christmas apart from Christians? How many people are there who don’t eat non-vegetables in Shravan apart from Hindu brothers?  As I have said above getting participate for the sa...

stammering awareness

Image
st st stammering Hi friends, Today, 22nd Oct, is International Stammering Awareness Day. I think you might know, ‘what is mean by Stammering, and who is a Stammerer’. For those who don’t know about it, stammering is speech disorder and stammerer is a person who has this disorder. Now you may think that are those people different from the normal people? How can anybody recognize them? How should anyone behave with them? These and some more questions may arise in your mind. But don’t worry you will get some direction from this article. First of all, it is to recognise a stammerer. All of have stage fear. Going in front of a group of members and put forth our idea is difficult task. At that time you might have the stammering. That is utterance of the sound …a.a…a or um…um… from the throat or repetition of words like; my..my..my..name is Pravin or sometime while uttering any word we face blocked or we becom e unable to utter that word. This is what we face rarely while g...

विचार करणार आहोत का आपण?

Image

Every Day is Friendship Day

Image
Every Day is Friendship Day It was a Friendship Day few days ago. We had gathering of some of friends. As we were met after long time we were interested in each other’s lives. We had some casual talk and then started making fun of each other. It is really the best thing to spend some moments with friends. It is like getting recovered. Really!! I mean it. After sometime two of my friends were started criticising the third one. Criticising or teasing is a part and parcel of friendship. They; that is; criticising and teasing; play important role on one’s life. It makes the person realise that he is doing something wrong. It’s INDIAN way of Friendship. Criticising is a method to rectify somebody. But it should have its limit. In many social gatherings also most of relatives are always in search of tease each other. I am not sure is it because we are Indians or we are human beings? We are always in search of other’s weak points. We show how better my life is and how bad yours is. I ca...

My Way of Adventurous Life

We are always in search of an adventurous life. But following our dream is the most adventurous adventure. We should make our dream as our ambition and start following it. I have experienced many times.....when we started following our dream.............it is the most adventurous thing we do. We can hear our heart-beats loudly.......this thing I LOVE MOST

Need to change

Image
Need to change Yesterday was really a ‘Lay Bhari’ day for me. It was the start of my social service life of which i had always dream of. We, I and my friends, have visited to orphan house at Baramati. We have done cleaning work there and distributed some fruits among the children. I feel really great. The orphan house name is ‘Savali’ which means shadow. I was thinking over the name. We stay sometimes under something’s shadow when we face sun heat. But it is not for forever. It is just a kind of rest. No one is going to stay forever there. Each child, bird, have to fly when they strengthens their wings. I had mixed feelings; feeling of happiness by helping and getting some new friends and feeling of sorrow by observing the stern reality. I have observed one more thing there that most of the orphans are girls. Out of twenty two twenty were girls. It shows the gender discrimination in the Indian society. Everybody wants a boy child as a ‘Vanshacha Diva’, male heir. I guess this might b...

The Bird who Lost His Nest

Image
The Bird who Lost His Nest The incident had happened before a month. It was early in the morning. I used to wake up late in the morning, but it was a different day. I sat outside my home. There is a small steam of water which is now used as outlet for water. Some signs of stream are still there. There is greenery around. At the right side my home there is a big Babul tree. There are so many birds. There is one coconut three at the front of my house. Some birds are there. They were chirping, flying and quarrelling. There were some birds called Sugran in Marathi or the weaver bird. They were building their nests on the Babul tree. They were taking a small string from leaves of coconut tree and weave their nest. As a result the coconut tree’s leaves were scattered into the pieces. The nests were too must artistic. I heard that all of the bird those who weave are the males and it is their nests which decides how good will be their female partners. Female choose the male par...
