Your Life Story

Your Life Story

When we were child, mostly our parents, decides what we are going to be in our future. I personally think that education, I mean formal, ruins our talent, if you take the education too seriously. Being 90s kid my parents dreamed about us; the three brothers; as a lawyer, a doctor and an engineer. I will never blame them for this. Apart from their dream, we the three brothers have chosen our dream jobs. We are not living their dreams.
Each and every parent expects their children a good future. Sometimes they choose force to choose ' the good' for their children. Sometimes it is there unfulfilled desires, they want their child to fulfil. I want to tell all the peoples (or children) who are living their lives under the pressure of their parents or society or something else. WAKE UP.

WAKE UP buddies. Wake up from the dream life of others and start living your own life. Take a deep breath, feel it, peep inside your heart and mind and you will get the answer. The answer of how your life story will be. It is OK. The beginning is not good. But it is not ended yet. It is totally up to you, that how to write your remained life story.

I recall story in this sense. A boy, 6 years old, wanted to have a pet dog. One day after returning from the school he saw a stray dog, a puppy in the porch of his house. He decided to catch the puppy and keep it as a pet. He tried to  catch the puppy, but couldn't. The puppy was hiding and running from one place to another. From the afternoon till the dusk she was trying to catch the puppy. As it was dark outside he, gave up the idea and return to home, upset. His father returned from work and listen the whole scene from the boy’s mother. The father wanted to console the boy.

Boy, “but dad, I just wanted to give a good life to that puppy. It is now going to become a stray dog. He is going to face a miserable life now"

Father replied calmly, “ Son, it is its decision because it is its own life. Who knows he will become a stray dog or find a better home than ours.”
Being a father, I can feel the worry of parents for their children to give them a good life. But trust me, your palace may feel like a cage to your children.

Let them create their own palace, their own kingdom. Let them fell down. Let them get wounded. They will learn from failures and wounds. Don’t force them to do or complete or fulfil your dream. Don't try to write their life  story. If you don't let them fell down, they will never stand on their own feet. Let them write their own life story. Let them be the hero of their own life story. Let them live.
